Nothing says “I love you” like a double dose of pink eye.

Ew. Yes, I know. As I was preparing our little fish for his Saturday morning swim, I noticed a tinge of red on the edge of his usually very large, very white eyeball. Warning bells quickly rang as I recalled the sign posted on the door at daycare saying that he was exposed. I headed to David for a second opinion and it was confirmed, our wide open weekend suddenly seemed closed shut.

As it turned out, our Saturday was still pretty fun. We got some drops for the goober’s goobers and still managed to make it to Costco and enjoy a tasty meal out at a new Indian restaurant.

Yes, I’m obsessed

Emmet has at least 6 giraffe toys. None of them look anything like this picture. That made David and I wonder how Emmet will know what a real giraffe looks like…maybe he will just be very surprised and confused when we go to the zoo.

It was fun to do this little drawing today. I’m so used to working on the computer that I found myself constantly thinking “undo, undo” but there is no “undo” on my pencil.
